(Viewing Note: The video refers to the Online Library as “The Online Academy”. These two terms are synonymous.)
Q: Will the Online Library be a required resource for all of my courses?
A: Requirements will differ depending on the course. Some courses may require students to view multiple segments from the EI Online Library. Other courses may have fewer or no assignments from the Online Library. The number of assignments from the Online Library will depend on the topics being covered in the course and other requirements set forth by the course. In some cases, the EI resources may substitute for a course text book, thus saving you money during the course of your degree program.

Q: How will I know what programs and modules to watch?
A: The specific modules designated for assignment from the Online Library will be chosen by your professor, identified in the syllabus, and be relevant to the course(s) you are taking. Your professor will provide you with these details.
Q: What does a typical module consist of?
A: Each module consists of anywhere between 20 minutes and 2 hours of online streaming video. The presenters featured in each module are national educational experts. Other modules feature experienced practitioners who share their own school or classroom experiences. Lastly, some of the modules provide you with access to actual classroom activities where exemplary teachers are videoed teaching real students. Bullet points are provided along side the video window to assist with note taking. In addition, a transcript is available for each module. Supplementary handouts and activities are also included to enhance your learning. Multiple choice assessments are provided at the end of each module and may be required by your professor.
